"Ride to Eternity" ™
About Us

I grew up in the Allegheny Mountains of PA with a family history of fast cars (mainly AMC’s) and motorcycles. I now have a collection that includes a 1969 AMC Ambassador SST 2-door Hardtop powered with a factory 390, a 1969 AMC Javelin (currently being restored from the ground up), a 1976 Kawasaki KZ- 900 (FAST), a 2000 Kawasaki Voyager XII (full dresser), and the latest addition is the "BLACK STALLION2006 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic with Lehman Trike conversion.

I retired from the US Air Force in 1997 after serving 20+ years with tours of duty in Louisiana (x2), Turkey (x2), Washington State, Germany, and my final station where I retired, SC. I served in Operation Desert Storm, Operation Provide Comfort, and other campaigns.

My wife Laura and I have been married for 28 years and our very 1st date was on a 1976 (or so) Honda 750 Hondamatic. Her dad was really impressed to say the least. We now live in Greenville, SC in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains - some of the best riding ever!!

Halloween 2006 Laura & I were on our way home from a church function on our 1997 Kawasaki Voyager XII and we collided with a deer going 65mph on a 4 lane highway. I came out clean as a whistle, but she took the full brunt of the accident. Lying in the middle of the road, now blocked with a vehicle from an off duty EMS worker (Thanks again!!), she quit breathing 4 times. But with PRAYER and help arriving, she was stabilized. She was life-flighted to the hospital and was in a coma for 3 days. The rest of this story has a happy ending with her astonishing the medical field with her recovery and rehabilitation time. PRAYER and FAITH works!!!

The reason for the story is that it eventually led to "Black Stallion Motorcycle Hearse LLC". You see, when your loved one is laying in the hospital and the doctors are saying "it’s in the Lord’s hands now", you have a lot of time to think. Unfortunately, the thoughts of "What do I do if she dies?" start popping into your head. None of us want to lose a loved one, regardless if it is on a motorcycle or other causes. It’s tragic to even be at the Gates’ threshold!

But if your loved one is "called away" and you give them the "Ride to Eternity" with Black Stallion Motorcycle Hearse LLC, you will have honored their life of being a Biker.

My Wife and I designed and built the hearse with the trailer portion being designed by a good friend. It took almost 4 months working into the twilight and weekends. (I hate when Regular work gets in the way of Fun work!!) But, we had a great time creating something that we hope will bring a little Peace to the sorrow that losing a loved one brings.
